The island of Sakhalin hosted the 26th SAKHALIN OIL AND GAS 2022 Far Eastern Energy Forum on September 28–30, 2022. The representatives of PROJECT GROUP HOLDING COMPANY were directly involved. Our company also acted as a partner of the Forum.
Among the forum’s invitees and experts were the Russian State Duma deputies and members of the Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of the Sakhalin Regional Government, senior executives of major companies of Russia’s energy and oil and gas production sectors. For three days, participants discussed the energy industry adaptation to new political and economic environment. The forum’s business agenda involved discussing the news and accumulated experience in the implementation of petroleum projects, issues pertaining to gasification, development of gas-engine transport network on Sakhalin and in the Russian Far East. Special focus was placed on the development of the petroleum industry amid external restrictions.
